Arizona's Law where is it going to end?

I am wondering what is going to happen when more states mimic the Arizona law. How is it that an officer is going to determine who to stop and who not to. This country is based on immigration and the idea of freedom. The new law in Arizona is setting that ideal back. What happens if you are stopped by an officer and do not have your identification with you? If your legally in the United States does this law mean that if your a minority that your to give up your right to freedom and expect to be detained at any time? Is this not the beginnings of what the Germans did to the Jews? Are the legal immigrants having to wear a scarlet letter?
